The Parish Council is considering establishment of a working group to explore the potential of a Community Land Trust. This follows a presentation by Tom Warder, Sussex Community Housing Hub Manager & Interim CEO.
Mr Warder said that such a Trust would:
- Be community owned and controlled
- Have an open and democratic structure
- Centre on permanently affordable homes or other assets
- Be not for profit
- Have long-term stewardship.
