Hamsey Lane is to be closed for two weeks from the 14th February. Work will centre on its junction with the A275 in Cooksbridge.
The company says:
‘You may be aware that last year we carried out an important project to improve water supplies in the local area by replacing a section of old water main on the A275 Cooksbridge Road.
In order to complete this work, we need to make a final connection to the existing network at the junction between the A275 and Hamsey Lane. Our team is expected to be on site on 14th February to carry out this final connection. Hamsey Lane will be closed for approximately two weeks in order to protect motorists and pedestrians while we complete this work. A diversion will be in operation and this will be clearly signposted.
We would like to apologise for any disruption caused and thank you for your continued patience and understanding while we complete this vital project.
Any further updates about this project will be posted on our website.‘
