CH Hutchison Networks UK has lodged a planning application for the construction of a 5G mobile phone mast and cabinets in Barcombe Cross.
The site proposed is roughly opposite the entrance to Barcombe Place, on the south side of Barcombe Mills Road. For details of the location, the mast and its associated structures, click the orange ‘MAP’ button below.
Other relevant information is in the company’s pre-application letter, and in documents listed in the full planning application.
The site is rated ‘amber’ under the industry’s Code of Best Practice. The rating system is explained on page 33 of this document.
If approved, the 15m-tall mast will be operated by mobile network Three. The mast is described on the site plan as a ‘5G unilateral’, so it may be similar to this (picture ©pedrock.co.uk)
